School support
Poverty forces thousands of children to juggle between school work and economically productive activities. Hormigón Armado supports up to 20 children a year in this module to reduce their need for economic participation and allow for a greater emphasis on academic work. School Support is also expanded in number of beneficiaries, schedules and facilitators through projects and support. In 2018, 2020 and 2021, this program has been part of a series of empowerment and integral development projects aimed at the Hormigón Armado Collective that have strengthened the program with greater access to technology, educators and others.
The academic progress of the school members of the Collective, workers and/or children of street workers is supported through: active tutoring, providing an adequate and supervised work space, providing social work care, and providing support in health and social issues. This is done through the following actions:
1 . SUBSIDY - To reduce the need for children's participation in economically productive activities in the form of school supplies, fares, and megabucks.
2 . WORK SPACE - Suitable classroom in our Reinforced Concrete Cultural Center.
3 . TUTORING - Reinforcing the academic progress of the children by university students and Education interns as well as specific facilitators for this program and nursery professionals for the kindergarten professionals for the early stimulation room.
4 . SOCIAL WORK SUPPORT - Professional social work supervision and support to the children in order to cope with the children in order to address personal problems that hinder their positive growth and development.
5 . NUTRITION AND HEALTH SUPPORT - If nutritional and health problems are identified.

EARLY STIMULATION ROOM
The early stimulation room program is a support program for the mothers who working in the cookie-production unit also attend workshops and training through the support of kindergarten technicians/facilitators and volunteers in motor, psychological, homework and other relevant support for their kindergarten-age children. This support has the objective of providing early stimulation components to the children in an adequate space and through the supervision of kindergarten technicians as well as facilitating their mothers and / or fathers access to the various programs and activities of Hormigón Armado. This support is provided in person and virtually two to three times a week. There is an adequate room. At the same time, the children who participate receive school breakfast and snacks, as well as a ticket voucher.
SPONSOr A MENTOR
The operation of the Aula de Apoio Escola requires a budget mainly for the payment of two to three educators/facilitators, who are responsible for guiding and accompanying the learning process of a group of 25 to 30 students. In addition, resources are contemplated for the provision of daily snacks for the students, a more complete monthly snack and a transportation voucher to cover travel expenses, considering the limited economic situation of the participating families. The estimated amount to cover the annual salary of the facilitators is approximately 20,000 Bolivianos per year, a fundamental investment to ensure the continuity and quality of the educational process provided by the program. Our proposal is aimed at seeking sponsors and/or donors who wish to sponsor the facilitators, as well as contribute to the other expenses associated with the development of the school support classroom. The contribution can be total (covering the annual salary of a facilitator/educator) or partial, according to the donor's possibilities. The essential thing is to join efforts to achieve the common goal: to allow more children and adolescents to continue to strengthen their learning in a safe, quality space with pedagogical support.
